ASOS contacted Kelgray when their existing wireless network was proving problematic and in term causing issues with the performance of the picking operation of what is a rapidly growing a successful business. Kelgray’s team of experienced engineers carried out a full site survey and provided a full plan of the work that needed to be carried out. ASOS is a very busy operation and Kelgray was able to provide the flexibility in approach to work within the tight time lines required as well as ensuring that the new network performed successfully immediately on switch over which was imperative to the ASOS business!

Monsoon was founded in 1973 by Peter Simon following a period of selling shaggy woollen coats on the Portobello Road and hand block printed clothes from Rajasthan to anyone who would buy them. The original focus was always clothes with an ethnic origin from faraway places, including unusual dresses from Afghanistan and countries en route.
Kelgray have supplied wireless networking services to Monsoon for several years assisting with the installation and setup of the Monsoon wireless backbone which has been implemented to support a range of hand held and truck mount terminals as well as portable printers and other stock management devices. Kelgray have carried out detailed site surveys for a complete wireless infrastructure and in turn configured Access Points to give full coverage of the Monsoon DC in Northamptonshire. A wide range of hardware has been supplied by Kelgray to Monsoon and assistance has been provided for integration with their WMS and full on going support services continue to be given including an all inclusive repair and return contract for both Motorola and Datalogic mobile devices
